Owner's narrative:
This condo in on the beach, just walk out the patio doors right to the beach. No waiting for the elevator, this condo is on the ground floor!
 
It doesn't get any better. Enjoy the expansive pure white sandy beach, warm Gulf of Mexico water, gentle breeze and a pool side, well appointed beachfront 2 bedroom condominium.
 
New in 2023: Completely resurfaced pool deck and all new pool furniture, tables and umbrellas. New dishwasher, New living room rug with durafoam pad, Freshly painted living room, master bedroom, master bathroom kitchen and ceilings. Old River dock and boat ramp rebuild finished from Hurricane Sally damage.
 
New in 2022: New Heating and Air Conditioner unit, New Hot water heater, Upgraded sofa cushions, new fan/lights in Master Bedroom and new seating benches on the boardwalk.
 
New in 2021: Extended tile patio and new Patio furniture.

This condo has Travertine tile installed in every room throughout the whole condo!  

Since Hurricane Ivan, this condo has been completely rebuilt and refurnished! It is better than it was before Ivan! It is a ground floor unit and parking is just steps away, as is the ocean and large pool.
 
Located on a very uncrowded part of Perdido Key. In the center of the spacious courtyard you will enjoy swimming and sunbathing at the large pool. The immaculate pool is cleaned every morning.  Even when it is very windy on the beach the pool area has just a gentle breeze.
 
The kitchen is well stocked with large variety of pots, pans, knives, utensils, platters, tableware, flatware and everything else you need to create memorable dinners. The kitchen and island countertop are made of beautiful Aztec design tile.
 
The living room has an ocean view, a sleeper sofa, comfortable couch, chairs, full wall mirror (adds a spacious feeling), patio and a TV with cable, and DVD player. The ocean front patio invites outdoor grilling and dining.
 
Guest bedroom includes bunks, a queen and a TV with cable, Master bedroom has a pool view, queen sized bed, it's own bathroom with shower and a TV with cable and DVD player.
 
The Condo's Grounds: Spacious lawn and gardens with flowering plants and palms make for a relaxing vacation. Surf fishing is popular. Whiting, Flounder, Blue Fish or Mackerel, just to name a few of what might be the catch of the day.
 
The Mariner dock and boat launching ramp on the north side (on Old River) of the property can accommodate a wide variety of watercraft and fishing off the dock is always rewarding.

Owner Story:
We love swimming in the ocean and pool, sailing, fishing, playing tennis, boating, bike riding, beach combing and relaxing on the white quartz sands of the Mariner beach while looking out upon the Gulf of Mexico.
 
The huge white quartz sand beach on Perdido Key is unsurpassed! This uncrowded condominium has just 72 units compared to other condominiums that would have many hundreds of units on the same size property. Swimming in the surf is one of our favorite activities along with fishing from the beach. We enjoy the beautiful pool when it is windy or cool on the water.
 
Unique to Perdido Key, the Mariner has this most spacious courtyard and pool on the Key. We enjoy being on the ground and walking right out our condo's sliding glass doors to the beach or the pool.

Emergency exit route:
 
Take a left onto Perdido Key Drive and go west. Then follow hurricane evacuation signs to Foley Beach Express. Foley Beach Express. Traveling 13.5 miles between Orange Beach and Alabama 59 north of Foley, the Foley Beach Express consists of a four-lane expressway and two-lane toll bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway (Portage Creek).

Overall we had a great time.
As a family with 4 kids, we appreciated the spacious layout and well-stocked kitchen in this unit. The first floor was perfect for easy access to the pool and beach. The sand and water were just gorgeous. This cluster of buildings is smaller compared to some of the high-rises around, which meant it was not overcrowded and there was plenty of room at the pool and beach for everyone. Family fun
Unit had all the necessities for us to sleep/cook/live as if we were at home. Parking was close by the front door. Laundry room was efficient and reasonably priced. Pool was clean and roomy. Boardwalk to the beach was a short walk to a dedicated beach for the Mariner. There was a family reunion taking place during the week of our stay, so we enjoyed seeing a lot of children playing tag, baseball, swimming, etc. Exceptionally family friendly location. Nice Beachfront Retreat
Very nice older low-rise Condo Building with private beach access. Nice pool although unheated, which could be an issue in the cooler months. Best stay ever

Perfect beach place
Awesome location, beach not crowded and literally we opened the door and we were on a beautiful white sand. The condo is perfect for 6, we have 4 kids. The kitchen is big and ready to cook. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms clean and very nice. Overall we loved the place, the area is awesome for a beach day, riding bikes around the beautiful national parks, clay shooting closed by, fishing and great places to eat within walking distance. Nice and Convenient
Property was very convenient to beach and pool. We enjoyed our stay but the unit could use a little TLC. The Oven handle came off every time we tried to open it, and the dishwasher was a little broken. Couldn't find the remote for the DVD player. The beds and furniture were comfortable and updated. A very comfortable condo in a well-maintained building with easy access to the beautiful beach
We were in a first-floor condo the access to the pool and the beach was excellent. The location on Perdido Key is perfect for exploring both east and west. We loved the restaurants, fresh oysters and so many outdoor dining venues. We used the boat dock and explored the surrounding areas via boat... also went hiking in the backcountry trails and the Gulf Shores . Perfect location!!
We loved our stay at Perdido Key! It's was truly the perfect location on the whole beach!! Most of the week we had the whole beach to ourselves. The other people in the complex were very nice. The condo honestly had everything you need, including beach toys, chairs anything you could need! My husband and I loved that we were located away from all of the crowd, but plenty of things to do within a short drive. We got a lot of rain a few days from hurricane Harvey, and drive out to the Tanger outlet malls. We passed plenty of amusement parks and shops along the way!! We look forward to coming back!! Birmingham Visitor
